Shift+Numpad as in Windows

Hi,

Is it possible to make the shift+numpad combination work like in windows? Like shift+end select everything till the end of the line and so on.

I use KDE and noticed there's such an xkb option in the control center in 'keyboard layout', but it does nothing! Maybe there's a xorg.conf option for this in the InputDevice section, but it's not listed in the man pages.

Thanks
