shell Krash


i was using nslookup ok and my shell crashed how can i restart the terminal so its back to the regular login screen. I have tried ctrl c , exit , quit ????? it would be cool if anyone can help as it is very irritating

yeh i was using bash but ifixed it by showing all of the pids and killing the ones that were running on that terminal . such as su login and nslookup

yeah that would work ... i just wasnt sure what u were asking ... weather or not u has access to any terminal or such like that
