Talking sge hard limit timeout action

Checked the man pages and on the web, to no avail.

When I set a hard limit on the cpu time of a grid engine job, is there a way to set the action when it expires? It currently just terminates the job after exceeding the threshold, which is a mysterious way for a job to die. No signals sent or logs left behind.

engine, grid, sun
