Question Several Redhat and CentOS Questions

Friends

Wish you a Happy New Year ...........

After a long time I got 3 problems which I couldn't solve...

1) On Red Hat Linux Enterprises 4
While Browsing through any website from Mozilla Firefox
it quits unexpected it happens frequently 5 to 6 times
a day....so i loose a data and i need to browse once
again

2) On Centos 4.3
One of the client complaint that automatically
she will be logged out of her account so loosing the
unsaved data and other data etc...
and she need to relogin and after relogin the system
hangs with leaving blinking light on keyboard and she need to reboot the computer through hardware reset these things happen after 20-30 min after booting in the morning once rebooted it will be working fine until end of the day

3) We have around 20 Linux system with Centos installed
and all the hardware are
Processor p4 and some are p3
Ram 256..
from the past 1-2 weeks all are telling that the system performance has slow down .. this was not the case before 1- 2 weeks

We have NFS server installed and mounted on all the clients

I had increased the write and read speed in etc/fstab file for nfs mount to 8198

Clients are saying that the network speed is good but the local file system are slow

and i scanned all the system for antivirus using f-proto then also the performance is not increased

and one system with above config... performance is good

all the system has same software running they usually work on openoffice , NFS and webbrowser..

4) I tried to get the rpm for doc to pdf converter and vice verca but i didn't get the rpm so suggest some ...
i tried to search on google,sf.net but i failed..

You posted in the wrong forum: ask the moderators of this forum to move the thread for you.
You should by now know you should give threads an appropriate and descriptive title: "urgent" works only for you, not for me.

While Browsing through any website from Mozilla Firefox it quits unexpected it happens frequently 5 to 6 times
a day.

Try the official tarball release?

One of the client complaint that automatically she will be logged out of her account
Ask client what he/she does right before this happens? Check account settings? Diff account settings with other box? Check system logs?

hangs with leaving blinking light on keyboard and she need to reboot the computer through hardware reset these things happen after 20-30 min after booting in the morning once rebooted it will be working fine until end of the day
Ask client what he/she does right before this happens? Do HW tests?

from the past 1-2 weeks all are telling that the system performance has slow down .. this was not the case before 1- 2 weeks
Find out what happened *before* that period, then?

I tried to get the rpm for doc to pdf converter
Doesn't OOo.org convert docs to PDF?

V, you could at least show the basic courtesy of acknowledging unSpawn's post.

Do you really expect any meaningful response to this post?
