Setup and display multiple dos drives

Hi! I am wondering whether anyone know how to setup and display multiple dos drives on linux desktop as I have seen in some people's screenshots? After checking the past posts, it seems that nobody has asked similiear questions where you want to automount multiple drives. In my system, there are C: to G: drives for windows and one for linux. Currently I am using rh8.0, and it seems that it can't automatically mount those dos drives and show them as icons on desktop automatically.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Those drives should be automatically mounted, you have to create the links on your desktop yourself.....check in /mnt/ and see if your windows partitions are in there...

Further questions of the same topic

Thank you for your reply and help.

Following your instruction, I found that somehow the windows directory is there. But somehow I can only see content of my D: drive, other drives like C:, E: are not there. I am not sure how I can get the rest of them too. Also, can you provide more details of how to link my dos drives to my linux desktop.

Thank you once again for your help.

Allen
