Setting X boot image, and loading image

hey,

I just installed the nvidia drivers for my geForce 4 ti4400 and this spiffy nvidia logo loads at the start of X windows. Is there any way I can set my own image? Also, I've seen some distrobutions (PHLAK, KNOPPIX, etc) that have an image when they run through all the system stuff, is there any way I could do that too?

Thanks!!

www.bootsplash.org for the Boot splash (duh! LOL). I don't think you can change the nVidia logo that pops up when loading the proprietary nVidia driver unless you venture into reverse engineering land - I think it's built into the binary part of the driver module, but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't want to change the nvidia one, I'd just like to add a second one of my own :P
