Setting up a print to file print driver
 

I would like to set up a Print To File Print er selection so that when I select print one of the options is Print To File. I would like it to print to a PDF formate. I have looked around and search a fair bit but can not find a document that shows how to do this, but I'm sure that it is possible.
Please understand that I'm fairly new to Linux and because this needs to be tied into a semi-automatic process where I would print to the PDF file then attach it to a document I can't be going out to a command propt to accomplish this.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
