setting ICCCM properties [solved]
Is there any window manager independent way of setting the ICCCM properties (such as _NET_WM_STATE_ABOVE) of a window (such as in .xdefaults or .xresources)? For example, I want to make it so that a particular application is always on top by default in openbox, which I can't seem to do in the openbox configuration file.

I think I found what I was looking for here: http://sweb.cz/tripie/utils/wmctrl/
It is a commandline tool to interacte with EWMH/NetWM compatible X Window Managers... Edit: EWMH/NetWM and ICCCM are not the same thing, but this is still what I was looking for. |
