Setting file permissions gvfs-mount samba share?

Hello,

In addition to automounting samba shares at boot, I'd also like to mount my Samba home directory on logon.

I already found a way to accomplish this: How to automount a gvfs file system on logon.

BUT.. when accessing my share in Nautilus (Ubuntu file manager) I can't see any file permissions. On my NAS box, all files are created -rw-r--r-- (644). Even when I chmod them to 755, I still can't see any permissions.

What could I do to make it e.g. 755?

Thanks already,
Memel

Ok, some more...

when I create a symlink to my mounted network share, file permissions show up, but as -rwx------ (700), the same as in ~/.gvfs. I am puzzled...
