Server time and daylight savings

hi all

our company is based in melbourne, Australia, and we have our server timezone set to Australia/Melbourne

we are running redhat enterprise linux 3

now, because we have the commonwealth games at the moment
someone decided to extend daylight savings by an extra week (not sure why), but anyway

our time is synchronised to the melbourne uni time server (/usr/sbin/ntpdate 128.250.5.101 in our cron)

now because daylight savings would normally end this weekend, i was just wondering if anyone knows if we are going to be in some bother for the next week
and how to avoid the problem for the next week anyway (until daylight savings officially ends)

any assistance, greatly appreciated
thanks
dave

Are you able to change the BIOS date on a test/sacrificial machine to see what happens?

( Pays to have two heads ;)
