Server is accessible only via IPMI, help
Server is accessible only via IPMI. SSH and web control panel is timeout. Takes several hours. Server dont have high load or suspicious processes.
I checked /etc/hosts.deny and restarted ssh, but nothing

After reboot it still did not worked, if i remember properly.
I had to do commands like iptables -F, iptables-X (if i remember correctly) they should somehow emptied iptables rules, and then i think it started working.
But now again, i cant connect from one IP im afraid it will repeat...

I'm guessing this is a hosted server somewhere, if that's the case then ask your hosting company to check via a physical console, or wipe your server and start again.

This is unmanaged server and i have kvm access (IPMI), so i can do anything, just asking there for advice on what to check

Does sound like IPTables, perhaps you should disable that service and see how you get on.

I think that disabling iptables will break connection to Virtual machines (OpenVZ kernel), it might not be truth, but i tried these things and it had negative impact on virtual machines. I rather need to findout cause.
