Server hangs on inetd
 
I am(was) running Woody 2.4. We lost power over the weeknd and I came in to find my servers had not rebooted.

Server1 will not boot at all, it just hangs on inetd. If I use a bootdisk it does the same but sometimes hangs on syslogd. Is there a way I can do a selective boot so I can choose the services to start?

I have got to get this up and running ASAP.

Any suggestions?

Run in single user mode, make your changes or find out why its hanging then reboot.
