Server Eating up RAM??

Here are my specs:

Running:
RedHat 9.0
Apache 1.3.33
FrontPage 5.0.2.2510
PHP 4.3.9
phpMyAdmin-2.6.0-pl1
MySQL 4.0.17
Exim 4.42
Majordomo 1.94.5
vm-pop3d 1.1.7f
WU-IMAP
Proftpd 1.2.9
SpamAssassin
2.0 + GHz AMD Athlon XP
1 GB RAM

It is a production web server, but the problem is, even with 1 GB of RAM, it seems to slowly use it up. After a server reboot and all of the services starting, it has a lot of RAM free, usually around 700 to 800 MB, but after running for a few days, it slowly uses the RAM up and right now it only has about 130 MB free. My question is, is this normal?? Or is there something I should clear to free up the RAM?? Which service(s) are using up the RAM slowly like this?

I think this is asked literally on a daily/weekly/monthly type basis, its normal. Try searching these forums for better explanations on how Linux utilizes its memory resources.

Simply said, why wouldn't you want your RAM to be used..? if you only wanted 512mb used or any other amount, drop in the size of memory you only want to be used and put more RAM in another machine..

Sorry , I did not know it was a regular occurance. I don't care if the RAM is used, I just don't want it getting down to zero. Thanks, I will search the forums.
