Hrmmm... this can happen when you have modified your machine's name (not quite as Fedora likes it
). Anyway if you don't need sendmail go to you apps menu there should be a "system config" submenu and then to another submenu called "services config"... there you'll find an option called "Services". Get in (you'll need root access). There you'll find a list of services that are available in your system and with a checkmark you'll notice those that run at boot. Unmark sendmail and now you are there you might as well unmark any other service you don't need
