sendmail question .....


Hi. If I use a service such as Hotmail or yahoo for my email is there a way to have sendmail work with these or do I have to use my isp smtp mail account to use sendmail?

Sendmail is a MTA (mail transport agent). It does the actual delievering of your message, you COULD download the yahoo or hotmail emails to your box and then reply them from there (sendmail will be used to send off the messages in that case). You could also use another MTA like postfix, etc!
