sendmail Masquerade


hi

i want to get sendmail rewritting my from address in e-mails when they are send out side the server.

im able to send mail to inernal users and all but can not send any mail outside of the server.

i have added the line

Djdpsmn.norfolk.sch.uk

into my sendmail.cf file as the doamin i want mail to apear coming from.

this is the error message i get when trying to send mail out.

This config looks like it came from turbolinux, I'm not sure how close they're to the default config that comes with the sendmail source.

In the default config I would be using...
DMdpsmn.norfolk.sch.uk

...and DS actually means the smart relay host in the default config, but turbolinux may have changed that.
