Sending soft fonts to a printer prior to printing PCL

Hi,
I generate PCL from a program for labels. Inside one of these labels are barcodes and text.

In one particular instance, the text in the label is Cyrillic. When I send the file to the printer (a Canon 6780 - but I would have the same issue on other printers) , the barcode is printed - but the Cyrillic goes through as garbage.

What I need to do is tell the printers what fonts to use for the PCL (maybe by sending soft fonts to the printer prior to sending the PCL file.

The printer I am sending it to does not have resident fonts.

Can anyone make a suggestion on the best way of doing this? I have attached an example PCL file.

Many Thanks,
Ian Collins
