Sechduled Backup Problem

Hi All

In sechduled backup of one of my server i have added one line as:-->

######################################
30 21 * * * /bin/tar -cvf /dev/st0 /etc /home /share
#######################################

According to this the bacup should start at night 9:30.

The backup start at night 9:30 PM. But I was stunned when i saw that backup also start at morning 9:30 AM.

Can anybody tell that why backup is getting started twice a time.

Regards
Bally

"Can anybody tell that why backup is getting started twice a time."

Rather than being a problem with cron this might be a problem with the way your computer keeps time. Have you told the BIOS to keep 12 hour time instead of 24 hour time?
