SDXC Driver in Kernel 2.6.24

Hi everyone..

I am a newbie to linux kernel programming.. I have given the task of writing a SDXC(32GB~2TB) driver for Kernel 2.6.24.
I have following queries..Please help me to figure out.

1> Does Linux Kernel 2.6.24 supports SDXC??? or SDHC(4GB ~ 32GB)..I know i surely supports SD...
If i need to modify the driver for SDXC what changes i need to do..Any pacthes are available?? which files need to be modified...
whether driver/mmc/host/sdhci.c???
1> The SDIO host controller is implemented in FPGA in our board, & the Processor to FPGA interfacing is through PCIe.. I am not able to understand this interfacing..somebody please tell me what PCI related functions i need to use... I Have the Device ID & Vendor ID of Host controller...

waiting for immediate help..
Thanks...

Well, the kernel supports SDHC for sure, but I don't know off hand about SDXC. I would be surprised if there isn't some project out there working on implementing it though, if it isn't already in the mainline.

As for the rest of your question, I think this topic would probably get more attention in the Kernel or Programming forums. You may want to request it be moved by a moderator.

Thank you for the reply...

That means Kernel 2.6.24 supports SDHC?? Then only addition would be for the SDXC support.

What is the correct location of posting Linux kernel related queries?
