...and since you don't tell us WHAT SCSI controller you're talking about, plugged in to what kind of system, with what kind of disks, running what version/distro of Linux, how exactly do you think we'll be able to even
GUESS as to what to tell you to do?
Short answer: contact the manufacturer of the controller(s) in question, and ask if they have any ideas.
Longer answer: use IOstat, sar, or any number of Linux utilities that will help you measure disk IO.
