Script in system startup

Hello Everyone!
I am using Pardus Linux 2008.1. My question is that how can I put some script in system startup (not kde startup)?
Thanks

You need to add the commands to
/etc/rc.d/rc.local -Slackware
/etc/conf.d/local.start -Gentoo
/etc/rc.local -Fedora
I am not sure about Pardus, but there must be a similar file for that

This a snip from my rc.local
Quote:
# /etc/rc.d/rc.local: Local system initialization script.
#
# Put any local startup commands in here. Also, if you have
# anything that needs to be run at shutdown time you can
# make an /etc/rc.d/rc.local_shutdown script and put those
# commands in there.
iwconfig wlan0 essid webDEViL
dhclient wlan0
