Screwed up fonts.

Ok, default fonts that came with fedora core 3 wouldnt all display right in various web pages so I searched the forums here and found out how to get like times new roman and all the m$ fonts installed. After 2 weeks of trying to adjust stuff I cant get anything to work and I can barely read what I have now. I've tried various font options in my firefox and KDE and GNOME settings. Now I need help hopefully to get back to square 1 and then try and get everything to display nice again. Anyone know how to basicly either get everything setback to default in KDE and GNOME then how to adjust the fonts.

Also I'm on an LCD-TFT as one post I saw said that you have to adjust fonts for that.

I have figured out a lot so far on my own for linux and am loving but this one is escaping me on how to fix it.
