Question Screensaver slows system down

Hello,

I am running CentOS 4.3 on a desktop with a 900MHz AMD processor. My desktop is kde. I find that some of the screensavers seem to really bog the system down in such that when I try to login it takes awhile (10-20 seconds) for the login window to come up. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any fixes?

thanks,
Mike

I had those problems also.
In the most cases that are those screensevers that use openGL
So just fix your opengl or remove those screensevers.
