screen command doesn't start new session

I have recently installed hlds on my server (slackware 12) and i wrote a script to start counter strike. It was working fine, until i wrote a stop script i got from a site on the net. after i ran it, my start script no longer started a new session (screen).

the start script:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
screen -A -m -d -S cs-server /scrds_l/hlds_run -console -game cstrike +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 16 -autoupdate
the stop script
Code:
#!/usr/bin
screen -dr cs-server -X quit
ANY help is greatly appriciated.
