SB Live (Value), KMix and sound-card identification...

Ok. I have a SBLive (Value) PCI card in my machine. On boot, the correct modules are loaded (lsmod returns soundcore, sound, emu10k1 and ac97_codec). HardDrake says I have a SBLive (module: snd-card-emu10k1), yet KMix reckons that I have a 'Cirrus Logic CS4297A rev B'. Is there something wrong?

Oh, BTW, the sound is crap compared to either Windows, or Mandy 8.0 surprisingly.

Justventing. I have the exact same card and havent been able to hear a peep for two months!! Your using alsa drivers I suppose. How did you get passed the version.h error when configuring the drivers...?

I didn't. This is on a completely fresh install of Mandy 8.1.

What configuration files can I examine on my box in order to assist you?
