Save mixer settings

I've just upgraded to 2.6.0-test9, and I have this little problem. When I reboot, my sound mixer-settings are reset to zero. This was no problem with 2.4.22.

Does anyone know a solution?

Don't reboot :-D

Yes, that's a solution :)

My CPU-fan is extremely noisy, so I can't sleep at night if I don't shutdown the system. Isn't there a way to save the mixer settings and restore these at boot time?

alsamixer settings are stored using:

Code:

alsactl store

Thanks for your help!

I found the solution. aumix has save and load options. I tuned up the volume and saved. Then I added "aumix -l" (load saved settings) to .xinitrc. That's it!
