Sata hard drive drivers


I just downloaded fedora core 2. when i try to install it it says no hard drives found so it brought me up to a page that has all kinds of drivers i have tried every one and i cant get linux to recognize my hard drive so i can install

any idea?

sys specs
-western digital caviar sata 80gb
-nvidia geforce 6600gt
-pc3200 512mb ram
- foxconn winfast nf4uk8aa motherboard
-amd athlon 64 3000+

The SATA drivers are in the 2.6 kernel. I would get FC4 instead. It will have all these drivers installed for you.
