At first You have to edit the /etc/samba/smb.conf, there is section called global that has the global options for your share, then create a section for your share like:
[share]
path=/share -> the folder you want to share
writable=yes or no -> depends if you want someone to edit or not
browsable=yes
public=no
now save and exit.
Now you have to set the users for the samab, first they must be exist on the /etc/passwd, if they:
smbpasswd -a username -> to create a samba password for the user
Dont forget to restart the smb service and to change the permission of the folder if denied writing to it.
You can test by
smbclient \\localhost\<sharename> -U username
