samba configration

hi everyone,
i'm a real newbie to linux and i wanna share files with windows machine from my linux machine, i know i've to use samba for it but can't be able to configure it correctly, i also read its man page but its too confusing for a newbie . Ok so i'm using redhat9 with samba installed n what i wanna do is to share files/folders with windows machine, heres my n/w information
workgroup = dreamz
my ip =
i wanna share folder /mnt/win_d/foldername
and i wanna share that folder with win98 machine whoz ip is ( jst wanna give access to this user in readonly mode) n i want this share to be password protected but shud be accessable using guest account ( if possible) so i dun've to add new user to samba
no printer sharing and nuthing else.
i'll be realy realy reallllllllllllllly very thankful if anyone of you'll provide me with all global , home etc settings so i can replace my smb.conf with that.

Try using samba-swat to configure it, it has more help on each setting so you can learn what each thing does.

wel yea i'll try swat but rite now i'm desprate to configure my smb.conf according to my requirment. waiting for help
