samba and pppd on demand
Hi
I have a machine that serves as gateway for my small network with a modem on and using pppd+demand to get a connection to the internet whenever somebody do a request to the internet. I also have samba on this machine and I did bind it to eth0 but sometimes when a workstation log in to samba or print a file to the printer connected to the samba server it triggers pppd and it dials out. This means I have a lot of connections to the internet with nobody actually accessing the internet. Any ideas?
