running suse 7.1 missing libmng.so.1
I'm trying to install my radeon 8500 le drivers but when i open the .rpm it gives me
error: failed dependencies:
libmng.so.1 is needed by fglr200-glc22-4.2.0-1.4.3
i'm clueless i've looked all over the net for this libmng.so.1 file can't find it I assume it goes in the /usr/lib but can't find the file want awsome radeon graphics. help me out thanks...

ok so i downloaded the .rpm installed it than tried to run the radeon rpm again and same message.... is there like a link or something that's pointing to the old file or am i just doing it wrong when i
i did this
rpm -i libmng-1.0.3-2mdk.src.rpm

ok so i looked in the /usr/lib and i see a symbolic link on the file? that's pointing to the old one... how do i get it to point to the new one?

Hi
Just do this (as root because i dont think u have permissions to write on that dir):
ln -sf /usr/lib/name_of_new_file /usr/lib/libmng.so.1
