Running apps under another user
 

I want to make an icon shortcut that can run a particular application as another user, that does not use a terminal, and that does not require me to type in a password each time; I want to password to be saved into the shortcut/script/whatever. is there a way to do this?

I'm running RedHat 7.2 with Ximian Gnome.

maybe a chmod to the application will do or adding user to group
