Running application after installing(New to linux)
 

Hi.
I am new to linux.i am using red hat linux 9.0.I have installed some software like yahoo messenger and kopete messenger,I have theres in rpm format.
I have installed it on command line and it is installed.Now i do'nt know where from i can run there applicaion.Mean after installing yahoo messenger where should i run that.
Plz help me

I believe Yahoo messenger is simply ymessenger and kopete is kopete..

You can always try typing half the command and hitting tab once and twice as bash is built with auto-completion, etc.

for apps that need X,
don't forget to do it on X ( ym needs that)
