Run script during file copy or create in directory

Hi

Can anybody tell me whether I can configure a specific directory (say /home/shared) so that whenever a file is copied or created in this directory, a script would run (say to change permission on that file so that everybody would have all permissions on this file)?

I know that you can configure crontab to run the script say every minute to chage the permissions on all the files in this directory.

Thanks

Neranjana

Google for "Bubblegum" or changedFiles. Two different approaches, I guess using Bubblegum would be the easiest for you.
