Run programs automatically when KDE starts

I want to start a program called kinput2 automatically when I log into KDE. I know this can be done through the file .xinitrc if I use console login, but I am using kdm. Is there a place inside KDE for me to set which programs to run during login?

I use mandrake so maybe it's a bit different for you. I have jserver set to start at boot and those user accounts for whom I want to enable kinput2, I just place LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 in the ~/.i18n file. Myabe this works for other distros, too (i noticed that on mandrake at least, KDE3.1 needs utf-8 for kinput 2, or you get serious *mojibake*).

You can place things you want to autostart in KDE in the folder ~/.kde/Autostart
I guess you'd put a script that calls kinput2.

Wow, you are good! It works!!!

I created a shell script like the one here:

kinput2 -wnn &

and put it under ~/.kde/Autostart/. Now kinput2 starts automatically when I log in.

I just set LANG=ja_JP.eucJP and it works for me. Although I just tested it on Mozilla and OpenOffice. I am using KDE 3.1, too.
