Run An sh File on startup in ubuntu server 9.10
 
hi all, im 11 so i need alot of help here so my question is:
what i am doing is making a web server and i got SmartFoxServer and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to run a .sh file on startup. the file is called start.sh and i need it started when ubuntu gets booted please get back to me as SOON as possible please.:D

add a line in /etc/rc.local that calls that script, in typical linux setups rc.local gets run as the last thing in the initial startup scripts, make sure you background the call if the script hangs around forever
