rsync+cluster possible??


hi,

i have an idea, i dunno whether it is possible or not. i just state it out, pls comment me if i were wrong.

now, i have a mail server(machine A). can i rsync all the related mail dir into another machine B) at an interval of times, then, i make a cluster configuration to handle failover btw two machines??? could it be possible?? pls comment some. thanks....

You could do it - queues are not easily replicated like this though.

If you want a high performance/reliable system you would be better having 2 application servers and 2 NAS systems that mirror each other with some form of network raid.
