rpm spec file

hey
can any one help me to create a spec file for collecting files and folders ex as back up etc
with pre and post file distribution scripts

Are you sure "rpm spec file" is what you're looking for, or a script/cron.
Maybe you should use a few more words to describe what you're after.

Feeble minds like mine are not into the "lingo" you use.

thnx for replay no i Know how to use cron also how to packageing with
rpm but the tips is how to collect files %file when i add my files
i get nothing case i dont write nothing in fields such setup .....etc
and that is all
