Angry RPM error


[root@bla root]# rpm -Uvh mailman-2.0.9-1.i386.rpm
error: cannot get exclusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/Packages
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Operation not permitted (1)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

Anyone knows how i can get to install this rpm???

just an idea

Your lock issue makes it sound like you have a gui connected to the RPM database. Check that you have no other RPM software running.
