RPM dependency question

Is it possible to use a requires: statement in an RPM using an OR instead of an AND?

requires: bar, baz

I have two Linux versions of an x86_64 and i686 package. The dependent package doesn't care which version was installed as long as one of the two were installed.

Have you tried

requires: bar or baz

?

I think this should work

See http://docs.fedoraproject.org/drafts...html#id3045258 22.1.3

The 'or' doesn't work. I am on Linux AS 4. When the RPM is installing it complains about a missing 'or' package. There has to be a way to have an 'or' dependency.

That link certainly suggests it works. Can't help you beyond that I'm afraid
