rpm broken for root?
I was installing some RPMs last night and one of them failed. Now RPMs only work for other users and not root. I can type rpm -qa lib on a different user and it will work, but if i type that as root it just sits there. Weird.
--update-- rebooting seemed to fix it. I allready did a killall -9 rpm so I'm not sure what was still running. I really hate having reboot be the answer to something. |
in future add a couple of -v's to the ommand line to get useful debugging information
