Hello all,

I just tried to install Rox-session on my RH7.3 running fluxbox. I loaded up Rox filer then tried to execute the session program via a Rox window. It did the compile, completed and was supposed to come up with a dialog box asking if I wanted to make it my default session manager, but no go.

Ok, so I delve into the actual directory and find a script called make default.sh. Right on! So I run it..... the darn thing completely overwrote my .xinitrc and then didn't even work!

So I get things up and going by rewriting some of the functionality back in the file. My question now is: Does anyone have any experience with Rox-session on flux or bb?

I was looking into it but I only use roxfiler.
When I checked it out I found some issues about security and the way programs are handled and started that made me think something like this could happen.Go to http://www.janw.easynet.be/rox and check out the links for more info.
Thats about debian packaging but it explains the problems that the debian people see with rox.
Now this sucks - I have just been there and if I try from here the link gives me a 301 - try http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=143084 instead.
