Rotating display under Mandrake 10.1

I just installed Mandrake 10.1 and I notice that under display config gui I now have an options that would allow me to rotate the display 90 or 180 degrees. The problem is that only Normal is highlighted and all the others are grayed out. Is this based on the monitor type that I am using. I selected the correct one but still grayed out.

Please help
