Root Script

Would it be possible to create a script that will load up konqueror in SU mode. I know this is frowned upon since it means putting the root password in the script but if i set the permissions right only I and root can access it.

You're running Mandrake - in the menu there is the option to run Konq as Super User - it's called "File Manager - Super User Mode" or something similar. Basically, it's a shortcut with su rights.

I used to have that but it was not here in 10. Anyway I want to create a script because it will save me typing the password in each time.

I have tried creating a script but I cant get it to type in the password for me.

Also, you could right click on the Desktop / Create New
Link to Application...
In the Execute tab
Command: kdesu konqueror

You will need the root password when you go to use it.
