Root Authentication required for reboot (and shutdown?)

I screwed some stuff up earlier when I was screwing around with nvidia/beryl/xgl stuff and I had to login as via console and copy my xorg.conf-install to xorg.conf to fix the problem.

Now my problem is... everytime I restart it says it requires the root password! How do I disable this?? Its really annoying.

Thanks in advance!

What else might you have changed? Only changing Xorg.conf should have no impact on the matter.

Uh I don't know... I didn't change anything that I could remember but I guess you don't remember much after hitting your head against the wall in frustration.

I changed some value in etc/syconf for displaymanager to "all" for shutdown or something. That fixed it.

Thanks!
