RH9 install

Ok, a friend of mine downloaded RH9 and burned it down on 3 CDs. Now the first CD boots OK, however when it askes me the install method, i choose "local CDROM", it tells me that it couldn't find the RH cd.
Now i found this page on redhat.com, which tells about making a boot disk -- making an iso image (the forum doesn't let me post the link, pls look in the rh9 install-guide)
However i don't quite know if this is what i need. And if it is, could you guys give me some details please.

Thanks in advance

well...since yoru booting into the redhat installer a boot disk wont help you, will the installer let you specify which device is your cd-rom? usually it will be /dev/hdc if you use ide

Actually, I don't think the installer will let me do that -- it does let me specify the device if i choose "install from hard drive", however i don't have the iso images to do that.

you can put the iso image on your hard drive then select that from the installer...that would work, plus it would go quite fast being that you can read from your hdd at about 200x

You see, i've got the thing on cd, i haven't got the image itself, and i can't download it because of my connection. Is there a way i can restore the cd to an image?

You can get either nero or cdrwin and choose the option to make an image from the cd.
Hope that helps

Nero
CDRWIN
