khyleung LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2003 Posts: 2 Rep:	RH8 IBM X30 install problem (freeze) i'm been trying to install RH8 onto IBM X30 P3 1.2Ghz with no luck. During package installation, the machine would hault. I've been trying to install it many times and each time would hault at different point. The CD-ROM would stop spinning and the harddrive would give no response. However, the cursor could still be moved around. Please help.
