rh 9.0 screen blanking

I have just installed RH 9.0 on a netfinity server and after 5 minutes the screen blanks (in console or KDE). I have disabled the screen blanking in KDE and also did setterm -blank at console, but no luck.

Anyone know how to keep the screen from blanking? I have this server attached to a KVM switch and need the screen up.

found it my self!

RH 9.0 linux blanks the screen at two levels; console and xwindows.

To turn off the screen blanking at the console leave X and obtain root. Type 'setterm -blank 0' at the command prompt.

Then startx and obtain root, open a xterm session and type: 'xset s off' and close the xterm session.

This should do it!
