RH 7.1 just hangs

Hi All,

I have no clue as to why Linux wokstation just hangs - can this be viewed in the the /var/log/messges file?

Actually where does Linux post all the errors that occur during boot and during runtime?

When does it hang? Can you be more specific? You can check your log files but sometimes nothing will get written if its a full system freeze. What desktop? Can you kill it and get to a console? More details or were as clueless as you are.

I can't be very specific but I have:

I cannot use a kill switch because its the entire system that hangs. Sometimes its when I'm using mozilla, other times its when I'm running a terminal window. Others its just from running hours on end...

I just ran through the log file and there is just a tone of garbage and I'm not quite sure wat I'm looking for?
