Restricting directory access with vsftpd

I've been running vstftpd on my redhat box for some time, and my only complaint is that I don't like users having access to the whole filesystem.

What I'm trying to acheive is that when a user ftp's into the box they get placed in /pub and can't escape it - ie. effectively chroot them to /pub.

I can quite easily chroot users to their home directories but there's no obvious way to give them access to /pub once this is done (and I assume it's not possible, as the whole point of chrooting to their home dirs is to restrict any further access).

Has anyone managed to do this with vsftpd?

EDIT:
Oops, I guess this should have been posted to the networking forum... well everybody hates a cross-poster so I'll leave it here and post to networking if I don't get any answers...
